Well it's been a few days now. Most people seem to hate it. So do I! Everything is clunky and hard to use and I guess I just don't like change. It really wasn't 'broken' in my eyes but oh well. Guess my voice doesn't count so I will speak with my wallet and just not be re-subscribing anymore! Doesn't seem to be much of a point, I guess.

Anyway. The BIGGEST peeve I had with v6 was when I go to Messages center, my deviations watchlist is AT THE TOP, and showing thumbnails, and sometimes, some of those thumbnails are NSFW (Not Safe For Work)!!! Now I know what you're saying, turn on the mature filter. All well and good but not every artist will mark things as mature, and sometimes even things that aren't mature can still be considered NSFW! So that solution is wrong.

Okay so set it to list view! That's great! But as soon as you reload the page or come back to it, it's back to Thumbnails view!!!! Still not acceptable. I put in a ticket to the Help Desk on day 1, but have yet to receive -any- kind of response back. Ridiculous.

Yes that simple! Set to list view, CLICK on one of them, then go back to Message center (clicking on the 'Messages' link at the VERY VERY TOP, where it says like: eviant *Rowrsie | Subscribed | 23,837 Deviations, 7,806 Messages | View Cart (No items) | Logout ), and your deviation watchlist will STAY in List View!!!

THAT'S WONDERFUL!!!

Now I can go from absolutely hating v6 and wanting to avoid it, to just being somewhat annoyed but grumbling along with something I can't change anyway.

So it's the last full week of June, and next week is going to be a short week due to Independence Day (on a Friday, how awesome is that). Can't wait! Got no plans currently but I'm sure kiddo and I will end up doing something!

So I watched about 9 episodes of Cowboy Bepop over the weekend. Finally!!! I had the DVD pack for a good two months now, just never had time to actually sit and watch it. And I have to say that it was quite entertaining! Had a Firefly-esque kinda of feel, so there was some instant appeal there. yeah yeah I know, Cowboy Bepop came out before Firefly, but I saw Firefly first! Though I feel sorry for the guy, over those first 9 episodes, I think he's only managed to cash in on one bounty... all his other marks keep getting kiboshed!!! Poor fella. And now all these passengers, will be neat to see how it all pans out. Still got another... 6 disks to go? Oy. It's a shame the episodes are all only 22 minutes long, that's kinda crappy, and not much time to tell much of a story. I can definitely tell where they skimp on things.

This one is Radey Rowr! Rad/Rad Defender Rowr! With super Radiation gloves! Don't ask me how they work they just do. But only 268 hours of play and my 2nd EVER level 50 in 50 months! WOOT! Jutey booty got her 6th level 50 too at the same time!!!! YAAAY

Many many thanks to *Juteboxhero Jutey bear (Valaraine!) for duoing these two with me and keeping them very very close for the entire ride. I think it took about... 6 months? Who knows.

So here's to many many more 50s! I don't know who's next but we have some plans.

Well that's about it in the Journal De Rowr for now! I do have some sketches I've done but they're NSFW and I can't post them here In fact I can't post them anywhere! But suffice to say, I have done a couple drawings and trying to get out of my art slump. I do owe Milkweasel a couple pics now though, and I actually owe a lot of people a lot of pics! But I'll get to them eventually! Very slowly!

Sheesh! Took almost a whole WEEK to get those last 300 or so pageviews. I guess I don't have as many watchers as I once did!! Oh wells.

I will probably work on that sketchie this weekend. He gave me a somewhat difficult character to do, it's a 'huge' male model from CoH, and I haven't really drawn males so I think it will be pretty difficult, but I'm going to do some muse-summoning ceremonies the rest of this week and see what all I can come up with.

Dare I say it, I will attempt to do a sketch of some kind for whoever catches view number 30,000! Or comes nearest on either side should the 30,000 be missed!

Yeah I have been drawing somewhat again. I'm going to -trrrry- to draw more often as time (and kiddo!) permits! I can't draw at work so that really limits me. I do love pencil drawing, not so much on the tablet because I sometimes have a hard time finding the previous line I was just on (I tend to do quick short 'scratches' instead of long graceful lines, if that makes any sense!). Plus sometimes I tend to focus too much on the details than on the big picture so that's something I need to work on. Oh also, moving off of looking at reference pics!! But I need to build up my 'mental rolodex' so to speak, so that's my justification for using reference pics for poses and such.

Anyway. 30k away! Gogogogo!

Hey everyones! Anyone happen to be Jewish out there? My coworker recently had a baby boy, and he invited everyone at work to the baby's bris. I've never been to one and I'm completely unfamiliar with Jewish traditions, so I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to do at one!! I did some research online and there's admittedly not much I'm finding. So any tips would be appreciated!



Also... I'm drawing again. Unfortunately, I have been drawing stuff that is quite unpostable. *wink* I will try to draw something that is postable so I can add to my gallery once again though
