Rowr is MOVING!!! WOOOOO!

After having moved back in with my parents after my divorce and job loss, I am finally at a point where I feel I'm ready to get back out on my own again, and have actually found and put money down on an apartment! WOOHOO! It's really close to work (10 whole minute drive, compared to the hour and a half each way I currently drive), so that is going to be GRRRRRREAT!

I'm very excited! Of course my parents are not as excited and only give me the negatives, but I'm doing what they want! They keep asking me when I'm moving out, and saying how much of a drain me and my son are being on them, how they never get alone time, etc. Well yeah the -smart- thing to do would be to stay and pay off my debts, but I feel it's more important to move out and move on and let my son and I get on with our lives, debt and all.

I have worked out a budget, and as long as I STICK to it, I believe we will be okay. It'll be tight for a little while, but once he goes to school in the fall, my day care expenses -should- come down. I hope! But I am also hoping for a raise sometime in August, on my 1 yr anniversary, so that will just be icing on my budget

So anyway. *I* think this is a good thing moving out, and in the end, that is really all that matters, right? Or am I being stupid?
