Well, I didn't want to post anything because I was afraid I would jinx it, but yesterday I went out to another apartments, this time nearer to my parents (but still far from work), and was shown one that was available -right now- at a discounted rate, and I fell in love with it.... but my credit didn't get totally approved so the lady was going to talk to her boss today and give me a call.... well she never gave me a call today, and I called a couple times leaving messages to call me back, but it's closed now so I don't know.

I'm really hoping I get it, it's a really cute cozy little 1 bedroom for 699 (regular rate is 740), and I really really liked it. But I didn't hear back today, so I probably didn't get it. :-/ But still just waiting.

However if I -do- get approved, I can move in this weekend! But... still must wait. :-/

Was hoping for a happy birthday surprise and get approved!

Happy birthday! And holy for a 1 bedroom being 740. I hope some utilities are included in that. I'm used to places around here being about $100-200 a month for a one bedroom home, and that's usually with either gas or water included. We pay about $690 a month for our house right now, three bedrooms, a bath and a half, large living room, and a sauna (that has a broken heater in it, so we can't use it anyways). But then again the cost of living here is really cheap too.

Wow... still, I hope that's a good deal for you, and I wish you the best!

Geez 100-200 a month? where the heck do you live??? I wanna move there!

I usually try to find places that cost less than $1 per square foot (so if a 700 sq ft apartment is under $700 a month in rent then I consider it a good deal). This one though is not quite at that level (it's 652 sq ft for $699), but it's still not too bad! And it's close to everything I know, and only 5 minutes and 4.6 miles away from my parents house.
